Taking a break from all the trip reports, I finally had a chance to sit down and reflect a bit on 2011, and it was probably my most amazing travel year yet. 2012 is already off to a bang, and I plan to set records in all categories this year!

Total Miles Flown: 135,132 – well off my highest, but still over 10,000 per month

Total Flight Segments: 82. Longest: Frankfurt (FRA) to Hong Kong (HKG) at 5,699 miles Shortest: Bonaire (BON) to Curaçao (CUR) at 47

Total Airlines Flown: 27. New airlines included 1-Time, Air Arabia, Azerbaijan Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Caribbean Air, COPA, Insel Air, Kenya Airlines, Kish Air, LIAT, LOT, South African, TAP Portugal, Tiara Air

Total Airports: 51. A major new record for me, previous high in a year being 41. Round-the-World trip was a major contributor. New Airports included Aruba (AUA), Bujumbura, Burundi (BJM), Bogotá, Colombia (BOG), Bonaire (BON), Bodo, Norway (BOO), Caracas, Venezuela (CCS), Curaçao (CUR), Yerevan, Armenia (EVN), Guam (GUM), Baku, Azerbaijan (GYD), Kigali, Rwanda, (KGL), Kish, Iran (KIH), Kwajalein, Marshall Islands (KWA), Livingstone, Zambia (LVI), Longyearbyen, Norway (LYR), Majuro, Marshall Islands (MAJ), Maputo, Mozambique (MPM), Oslo, Norway (OSL), Pohnpei, Micronesia (PNI), Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago (POS), Panama City, Panamá (PTY), Koror, Palau (ROR), Tblisi, Georgia (TBS), Truk, Micronesia (TKK), Tromsø, Norway (TOS), Trondheim, Norway (TRD), Yap, Micronesia (YAP)
